It was a pleasure to welcome Dan and Emily in to school once more to work with the children and lead the school in a wonderful day of prayer and reflection entitled ‘Let All Creation Sing’.
Pupils were delighted when they saw our visitors and gave them a warm welcome. The atmosphere in school throughout the day was joyful.
We began the day gathering in the hall for our whole school liturgy. We sang ‘Laudato Si’ which means ‘Praise Be’ in Latin.
Pupils learnt some signing to accompany their singing, it was beautiful.
Dan and Emily played some brilliant games with everyone… guessing the sounds of nature was a favourite!
It was a pleasure to witness the Year 6 pupils take a leading role in the day’s prayer and liturgy. They have taken the message of discipleship from their retreat to Alton Castle and put it in to action in school.
