The feast day of our patron, St. Jude, always falls during October half-term on 28th October. We had a wonderful celebration in school ahead of the break to mark this special occasion.
Parents joined us in school for a Year 1 Stay ‘n’ Pray and a Reception celebration meal to say a huge well done for settling so well in their first half term at school. Other pupils enjoyed drama workshops where they explored and shared what makes them special, unique and made in the image and likeness of God.
What made the day stand out were the prayer services that pupils worked hard to plan together. They put their own special stamp on the day with their thoughtful reflections about school and what makes it a special place to be. They also produced some stunning art work that we are proudly displaying in school.
This was a brilliant day where we celebrated all that we are and all that, with St. Jude on our side, we can become. St. Jude, pray for us.
