Years 2 and 3 have enjoyed their visit to Mary Arden’s Farm learning about the life of one of the world’s highly acclaimed authors William Shakespeare.

The mini production of ‘A Midsummer night’s Dream’ by Year 3 pupils was excellent. The class brought the play to life and saw the humour in the “magical mix-up” where everyone gets confused until magic finally sets things right!

Pupils in Year 2 set to work in the sunshine at this beautiful Tudor setting.

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed their living history session where they engaged with the working Tudor farm, including meeting animals like rare-breed sheep and goats. They loved making lavender bags and had a complete hands-on look at William Shakespeare’s childhood world.
