As usual, World Book Day was a huge success at St. Jude’s. There were so many wonderful costumes worn by pupils and staff.
We had excellent workshops run by Class Act Theatrix where some pupils read play scripts and others took on the role of fairy story characters. Every class focussed on a text which focussed on refugees and the dangerous journeys that so many take to escape danger in their homeland. Different classes got together to share their favourite stories too.
All in all, this was a fantastic celebration of books and reading in our school!
