Our Mission

Catholic Life and Mission at St. Jude’s

We are very proud of the families, staff, governors and the parish community which enrich St. Jude’s Catholic Primary School. Our school’s mission is for all children to be happy and truly valued to reach their full potential spiritually, socially, personally, physically and academically. Our mission statement – We live, love and learn together joyfully in Jesus’ name – embodies what we set out to do in our community.

At our school, we cherish each child as an individual with their unique gifts and needs. We understand our pivotal role in their development, guiding them to impact society positively. We also recognise that we cannot achieve this alone. As a child’s first teacher, parents are crucial partners in this journey, and their involvement is key to our mission’s success.

As one family united as children of God, we are responsible for actively encouraging and living out our community’s Gospel values of Love, Peace, Justice, Honesty and Forgiveness. We endeavour to prepare pupils for the challenge of life through the example of Jesus and the Gospel Command – to love God, ourselves and our neighbour.

Our mission at St. Jude's is: 'We live, love and learn together joyfully in Jesus' name
