Celebrating a variety of faiths in St. Jude’s involves learning about and respecting different religions. We always dedicate time to exploring other faiths through activities, visits to places of worship, and discussions, fostering understanding and tolerance. This initiative aligns with the Catholic Church’s call to love one’s neighbour and promote inter-cultural understanding.
Multi-faith opportunities in our curriculum are also an opportunity to promote British values such as respect and mutual understanding. The over-arching goal is to foster respect for religious diversity, encourage interfaith dialogue, and prepare students for life in a multicultural society.
During our recent trips to places of worship in the West Midlands, pupils were engaged and respectful showing what a worthwhile opportunity it is to take part in these important visits.
