Healthy Eating

At St. Jude's we encourage children to drink plenty of water and strongly encourage them to bring in a piece of fruit at break times

Key Stage 1 children receive a piece of fresh fruit daily provided by the DCFS free fruit scheme. All children can purchase toast and milk as a snack at morning break.

St. Jude's has recently been awarded the 'Health for Life' and 'Be Healthy' Schools Awards. Children have worked very hard to achieve these awards improving their awareness of the importance of being and eating healthy.
